TEACHER BIOS
Richelle Cygan- My "fitness life started at the age of 14, this was when I bought my first membership at a gym. Since that day back in 1986 I have never looked back. I worked out my entire young adult life and went to many an aerobics class and spent countless hours at the gym on the treadmill and hitting the weights. Then one day my best friend of now 16+ years, she was a fitness instructor. I met her in 1993 in Lethbridge, AB. I went to her fitness classes faithfully and thought she was nuts. But eventually the bug hit me and I received my certification in Group Fitness, Strength/ Resistance Training, Yoga Teacher Training Level One and countless hours at fitness conferences over the years. I am also currently researching a nutritional education component to round out my knowledge base. Lastly I am CPR/ First Aid Level A trained as well. Anyone who knows me knows promoting fitness and health is my passion. It is my lifelong quest to help Canadians change their habits and become healthy, strong, happy people.
I look forward to meeting you at my classes and you can start to see how good healthy feels!

Corinne has actively taken yoga for over 11 years which recently inspired her to take the teaching certification. Breana Dennis- Breana started her yoga journey 12 years ago practising on and off between backpacking trips. After a back injury in 2003 her practise became a regular part of her life and a way to keep her body out of pain. Administration work at a busy yoga studio has only deepened her practise and love of yoga. Breana can't imagine life without it. Breana is a certified Akhanda yoga teacher with the World Concious Yoga Family. She has also taken an apprenticeship program with Gerda Krebs
Melanie Milne- Melanie's chapter in her book of life started 2 years ago. She started to take yoga classes to help her lose weight trying out Ashtanga, Bikram and Moksha classes, but found her passion with Akhanda yoga. She had no idea that yoga was going to take her on a further journey spiritually. Understanding how to connect the poses with the breath and learning to love her body, Melanie has lost over 80 lbs and hopes that her story will help inspire so many others to achieve their goals. This past summer she has completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training and is a certified Akhanda yoga teacher with the World Family Concious Yoga Family. Melanie has found a passion teaching pre-natal classes, Akhanda classes, and helping expand the beautiful light that lives in everyone.
